I hope you all have fun discussing Fantasy Lover by Sherrilyn Kenyon. If you have any questions please let me know. This is the very first time I've had a book discussion so if you have any suggestions or have actually taken part in one before and can offer some helpful advice (like better questions for one) please drop me a line at: seline_bennet@sbcglobal.net

Chapters 6-11 Discussion Starter Questions

He reveals that it isn't all fun and games because these women see him as an object and not a human being (you know, the way men view women these days). 1. Right as chapter 6 begins we find out the the biker Julian punches is in fact Eros (aka Cupid), why do you think Sherrilyn made him and Psyche bikers as apposed to professionals (doctors, bankers ect)? I honestly think it's more humorous that the god of love is a biker, or rather chooses to hang around bikers. I think it gives Eros and Psyche a more "human" connection don't you think? They're not as aloof as Artemis is but I doubt humans are on their "favorites" list.


2. Julian continues to experience the modern world in these chapters, sometimes with humorous results, what experience of Julian's is your favorite?
I think I like Julian's driving experience the best, honestly I know how he feels. I can't drive worth anything!

3. As the story progresses, we see what Julian had to put up with all his life, women throwing themselves at him constantly. He reveals that it isn't all fun and games because these women see him as an object and not a human being (you know, the way men view women these days). Would you feel the same way (in the case of a woman, how would you feel having men throw themselves at your feet?) Julian does? Or would you love the attention?
In the beginning it might be nice but as time went on I think I'd react like Julian. Every creature wants to be loved at the end of the day no matter what they say and to never have that, it's rather sad.

4. Love or lust and why?
Love. Love is not selfish or cruel while lust can be both.

I've never would have thought of Cupid (XD) as something professional. He always made me think of a petulant child (not just Sherrilyn's Cupid), so to me, it fit perfectly.

2. Julian continues to experience the modern world in these chapters, sometimes with humorous results, what experience of Julian's is your favorite?
It's hard to choose a favorite. I was chuckling through-out the book.

I'd be freaked out, honestly.

Love, always. Lust fades, love doesn't, if you work at it, and only what you work for is worth keeping
